A panel assembled from trusted members of the Super Smash Bros. competitive community, many of whom helped to create the Panda Global Rankings (PGR), will vote on players in both games to be the final Invitees before the Last Chance Qualifier
4 criteria the panel will judge individual players on for possible inclusion into the Panda Cup:
- Placement at Panda Cup Events
- Win rate against players who are qualified or with a higher seed at Panda Cup Events
- Losses against qualified or higher seed players
- Win/loss rate against other players who may be chosen by the panel
The panelists will create a list and all panelists lists are combined and averaged to create our selection of Panda Cup direct invitees.

The Last Chance Qualifier is an open-entry bracket taking place in-person at the Panda Cup Finale in December. The top 2 players from each Super Smash Bros. title will qualify for the Panda Cup Finale beginning the very next day.
